Shipping & Pick-Up Information

Where do you ship?

*Online sale events will have different minimum order criteria for shipping*

We are happy to ship anywhere in Canada and around the world.  Minimum order for any shipping/delivery option is $30.

Calgary (within city limits) - All food & retail items can be shipped/delivered. Deliveries may take place between 10am and 9pm.  We are able to guarantee delivery dates, but not times.  If you need it for a certain time, please order for the day before to ensure proper arrival time.
  • FREE shipping/delivery on orders over $100* - delivery 7 days a week!  Deliveries may take place between 10am-9pm via a third party courier.

Surrounding areas of Calgary (Springbank, Bearspaw, De Winton, Heritage Pointe, Balzac, Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Langdon & Okotoks)  will be a flat rate of $35/delivery for all food & retail items.  If you are not needing frozen or cakes shipped, please use the 'Rest of Alberta/Canada' shipping option. FREE for orders over $300.  Delivery will be within 5 days of orders being placed (excluding weekends).

Canada (not covered above) - Food & retail items can be shipped.  No frozen items or cakes.
  • $25 shipping fee on regular retail items.  Excludes food and litter.
  • $50 shipping fee on heavy items, includes food and litter.  Fee includes packages with a total weight of 15lb-40lb.    *Please note that there are certain weight and size restrictions.  We will try our best to accommodate all order requests.

USA - All retail items can be shipped.  Food/consumable items cannot be shipped.

  • Customer is responsible for all duties and taxes upon arrival into the U.S
  • $40 shipping fee on all orders

International - We do not ship internationally. 

    **A 20% restocking fee will be charged for all returned orders from couriers**

    Where is my order?
    Orders may take up to 72 hours to complete depending on stock and store transfers.

    Custom cakes and cupcakes will be ready for pick-up after 12pm on the requested date, unless otherwise specified. 

    Special order items (cakes/cupcakes not included) or pre-order items may take up to 6 weeks for arrival.

    You will receive a confirmation email (please check spam folder) once your order is ready for pick-up.

    Delivery/shipping in Calgary
    We want to make things easier, more convenient and safer for you by bringing your pets' needs to you. We offer FREE delivery/shipping anywhere within Calgary city limits for a minimum purchase of *$100 before tax/discounts. All orders will be delivered within 5 days (excludes custom/special order requests) of placing your order. You will only recieved an email with a delivery date if your delivery falls outside of the 5 day window, otherwise please expect your order within 5 business days.  A text message notification will be sent indicating order arrival.  Sorry we are unable to guarantee delivery times.  We strongly recommend someone being at home to receive the order as the order will be left on the doorstep/lobby area (at your own risk).  Bon A-Pet-Treat! cannot be held liable for any theft or thawing once the order has been delivered.

    Delivery Restrictions

    • Please note we do not deliver to addresses that have restrictions on hours as we cannot guarantee a delivery time.  The delivery address must be able to accept orders until 9pm.
    • Apartments - Please include any special instructions in the event we cannot reach you at time of delivery.   (ie buzzer number or if it can be left in the lobby).  Otherwise the order will be sent back as un-deliverable and re-delivery charges will apply. 

    By selecting the delivery option, you understand and agree to these terms and policy.

    Do custom orders qualify for Delivery?
    They qualify for delivery, but not for same/next day. A minimum of 48 hours notice for custom orders still applies. Special item orders may require up to 20 business days and delivery can be set for when the item arrives. 

    What if my order is less than $100? Can you still deliver?
    Absolutely! You just pay a flat fee of $10 within Calgary city limits.

    How do I place an order for delivery?
    Orders can be placed online or over the phone (phone payments are not accepted). All pick-ups and deliveries must be prepaid. Once payment is received and the order is processed, you will receive an email confirming your order with the delivery date. A text message notification will be sent to the phone number provided once the order has been dropped off. We highly recommend that someone be home to receive the order as the order will be left on the doorstep (at your own risk). By selecting the delivery option, you understand and agree to these terms and policy.

    Can I request that my order be delivered at a certain time?
    Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times due to order volumes.  A request can be placed to our driver to text you when your order is on the way.  A text message notification will also be sent once the order has been dropped off. If you need it for a certain time, please order for the day before to ensure proper arrival time.

    How far in advance do I need to order prior to the holidays within Calgary?
    If you need your order there by a certain day (ie before Dec 25th), please include it in your notes at checkout and we will try our best to accommodate. Third party couriers are used so depending on weather/demand it is best to order early. Deliveries are done up until Dec 24th and orders must be received by Dec 22 at 12pm. Essential items (food/frozen) have priority, however we will try to our best! 

    Do you offer CONTACTLESS curbside pick-up?

    Yes, we do! Curbside pick-up is FREE at all our store locations and available 7 days a week! Orders must be prepaid.

    How do I order for curbside pick-up?

    Orders can be placed online or over the phone. All curbside pick-ups must be prepaid. When you arrive, please give us a call with your order #/name and we will place your order outside on the table. 

    Do I still get my Pet Perks when I order for pick-up, delivery or shipping?

    Absolutely! Any purchase in-store, online or over the phone count towards your Pet Perks Loyalty Points & Frequent Buyer Bags. 

    Double your discount by shopping online!  We have added a rewards program for our online shoppers, however your online purchase will also count towards your in-store Pet Perks account.  Shop both for full benefits!
